Privacy policy
Who is responsible
The data controller is Marek Wylon, a private individual operating MyCars12 from Poland. Processing follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation 2016/679). Contact: admin@cars12.art.
What we collect
- Email address — to sign you in (one-time codes) and reach you about your account.
- Profile — display name, handle, optional bio, location, social links and avatar you provide.
- Location — if you opt in to the builders map, your city is converted to approximate coordinates. Opt out any time.
- Content — builds, photos, files, comments, likes, follows and saves you create.
- Minimal technical data — a session cookie that keeps you logged in.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Running your account and the community — performance of our agreement with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Showing your public profile and builds — they are public by design once you publish.
- Keeping the service secure and working — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party analytics cookies and no cross-site trackers.
Sharing & retention
We do not sell your data. Published profiles and builds are visible to anyone by design. We keep your data until you delete your account, after which it is removed.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can:
- access, correct or update your data — from your profile;
- export a build — the ZIP export on each build;
- delete everything — “Delete account” in profile editing removes your account and all your builds, photos and files;
- object to processing or withdraw consent;
- lodge a complaint with the Polish authority (Prezes UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
